FAQ
How long is the program?
The program is a yearly program that builds to the CrossFit Open. Throughout the year, different aspects of fitness are prioritized in 12-week cycles. Once you join, you will begin wherever the program currently is in the yearly plan.
How are the workouts delivered?
The daily workouts plus nutrition/lifestyle programming is delivered via the CoachRx app. Each day you can log in and find your training and other protocols waiting for you.
What does the weekly training look like?
Each week consists of three strength/gymnastic skill + metcon days and two longer metcon days ranging from intervals to longer single metcon.
Are there any contracts to sign or commitments?
Nope! Once you join, you’ll receive a health waiver to sign, and that is it. The program is month-to-month, and you can cancel anytime.
What if I can’t do all the movements?
Each workout comes with scaling options for athletes who are still developing their skills. In some instances an Rx+ option will be given.
How long are the workouts?
Each session consists of warm-up, corrective exercises, and primary training, whether that is strength, gymnastics, and/or metcons. You can expect to be in the gym for ~60 minutes.
What equipment do I need?
Standard CrossFit equipment is recommended; however, equipment substitutions will be given for each workout.
Ex. Subbing a 250-meter row for 250-meter ski erg
When does my payment come out?
You can get started for only $0 for your first three days, and then you will be billed $97.00 per month on the same day each month.
What if I have questions during the program?
If you have a question, you can simply message your coach via the comment section of the workout in the Coach Rx app.
What happens after I sign up?
Once you sign up, you will receive a welcome email immediately with links to download the CoachRx app and a video tutorial on using it. Then, within 24 hours, you will receive a welcome link via email to “be my client” on CoachRx. Once you accept it and sign your waiver, you can start training that day!
