I know what it’s like to feel on top of the world after breaking a PR, only to wake up in debilitating pain the day after.
A back injury forced me to stop working out six years ago, and when I got back in the gym I tried doing too much at once. Due to my impatience, I aggravated my back condition to the point where I couldn’t even walk for a week.
At that point, I developed an individualized training program for myself to address my injuries, which consisted of a herniated disk, nerve pain, and a sprained back ligament. I felt a sense of dread. It seemed that I would never be able to do what I was used to doing, without pain.
Luckily, I was wrong. My consistent and methodical approach to healing has enabled me to not only match my old PR but now surpass it. My performance and fitness levels have improved since I sustained my injury, and I never had to stop training.
When pain prevents you from reaching your goals, I understand the temptation to give up. The truth is, it doesn’t have to be this way. In fact, I and my clients are living proof that you can get stronger, faster, more agile, and physically resilient while healing your source of pain!
After physical therapy, most people return to the same workout program rather than adjusting their routine to continue healing, prevent re-injury and achieve sustainable fitness goals.
My experience shows that an individualized nutritional, training and rehabilitation program is the key to maximizing your recovery and achieving long-term physical resilience and performance.

Throughout the past decade, I have received extensive formal education and specialty certifications that have allowed me to help countless clients in a variety of settings.
Following two years of collegiate football with the Ithaca College Bombers, I took up CrossFit and now rank among the top 10,000 nationally with several local wins under my belt.
The knowledge and experience I’ve gained as an elite multi-discipline athlete helped me shape my professional career.
After my collegiate athletic journey came to an end, my first internship was with the Notre Dame University Strength & Conditioning staff, working with all Olympic athletic teams, followed by an internship with the Stony Brook University Athletic Performance staff where I continued on as Graduate Assistant Strength & Conditioning coach.
My role involved overseeing Strength & Conditioning programs for the men’s soccer, softball, swimming, and diving teams, as well as working with the men’s basketball and football teams.
To maximize my ability to help people, I pursued further education to optimize human movement and performance training.
Today, I hold a BS Exercise Science degree, Masters of Science in Nutrition, and Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Stony Brook University. In addition to serving my own clients for the past decade, I am also a Certified Level 1 CrossFit Coach and Performance Nutritionist at Port CrossFit.
My lifelong passion for fitness and science has inspired me to continue learning and growing in my role as a Performance Physical Therapist. Through individualized and integrated nutrition, functional training, and physical therapy, I help clients get fit and healthy while moving and performing pain-free, regardless of their starting point or athletic goals.
Over the past few years, I have coached hundreds of remote clients one-on-one, and have seen how online coaching allows clients to achieve their goals in an effective and flexible manner. From the very beginning, I make sure you are closely involved in the creation of the program, so you can understand each step and thrive independently.
